CubeCure itself does not collect or sell your personal information. Your cube scans, your camera frames and your solves stay on your device.
The free version shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob, and Google may collect device and advertising information in order to serve those ads. That is described in the Advertising section below. Buying CubeCure Pro removes advertising entirely.
CubeCure uses the camera to read the colors of your cube. Camera frames are processed on your device, in memory, only while a scan is in progress. No photograph or video is saved, and none is ever transmitted. What the app keeps from a scan is the resulting arrangement of colors, held in memory for the length of your session.
You can refuse camera access; the app still works via manual color entry.
Nothing that identifies you. The app keeps no account, no profile and no history of your solves.
Development builds write diagnostic files recording color samples from scans, used to measure how accurately the app reads colors. These are excluded from released versions of the app, and they never left the device even in development.
CubeCure Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store. The app receives only whether the purchase is active. Payment details are never seen by, or available to, CubeCure.
The free version of CubeCure shows a banner advertisement supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may use identifiers and information about your device, along with approximate location derived from your IP address and information about how ads performed. Google's handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Two separate permissions apply, and they are not the same thing.
Declining Apple's prompt does not mean no identifier is used at all. Google may use an identifier that is limited to CubeCure, along with information about your device and the ad. What information is used, and whether the advertising you see is personalized, depends on your answers to the consent prompts, your device settings, your region, and Google's own policies.
Declining costs you nothing. Every feature works identically; the advertising is simply less tailored. You can change your mind at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Buying CubeCure Pro removes advertising entirely. For Pro users the app does not start Google's advertising or consent systems at all: no consent form is shown, no tracking permission is requested for advertising, and no advertising request is made to Google.
CubeCure is a general-audience app. It is not directed to children, its subject matter is a mechanical puzzle rather than child-oriented content, and it is categorized and age-rated accordingly. CubeCure itself collects no personal information from anyone.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the app, note that the advertising described above is served by Google under a general-audience configuration. Buying Pro removes it.
None. CubeCure contains no analytics, crash reporting or telemetry.
